1. Creative Brief & Strategic Objective
L'Osteria is renowned for its vibrant, high-energy Italian dining experience and oversized signature pizzas. The primary art direction challenge was to translate this rich, tactile in-restaurant atmosphere into high-converting print and digital touchpoints for take-out, delivery, and customer retention campaigns across domestic and international venues.
The goal was to build a cohesive visual communications framework that elevates brand perception, reinforces customer loyalty, and drives measurable conversions on order.losteria.net and the Amici Club loyalty app.
2. Campaign Concept & Storytelling
The creative narrative centers around "Authentic Hospitality Meets Modern Convenience".
Rather than relying purely on transactional discount messaging, the visual strategy embeds promo mechanics into playful, culturally rich Italian storytelling ("Attenzione!", "Amore", "Ein Stück Italien nach Hause"). Whether addressing loyal regular guests, first-time delivery customers, or resolving service recoveries ("Scusi" retention touchpoints), the art direction maintains an approachable, warm, and highly engaging brand voice across all media.
3. Visual System & Design Direction
Typography & Hierarchy:
Utilized high-contrast, editorial display typography balanced with clean, functional sans-serifs. Promotional call-outs, discount codes, and offer structures are architected with a strict focal hierarchy to ensure immediate readability and instant visual impact at a glance.
Color Palette & Imagery:
A rich, appetizing color scheme rooted in L'Osteria's visual DNA combining warm tones, classic dark contrast, and bold accent highlights to draw attention directly to key conversion drivers and QR entry points.
Layout & Grid System:
Engineered a flexible modular grid across standard formats (DIN A6 print collateral, digital display banners, and in-store POP displays). This allowed local franchises to scale campaign variations efficiently while keeping brand integrity 100% consistent.
Omnichannel UX (Print-to-Digital Bridge):
Seamlessly integrated physical collateral with digital ordering workflows. By designing prominent, frictionless QR placements and streamlined URL pathways, physical print touchpoints act as direct acquisition channels for the Amici Club ecosystem.
